Once the Autumn foliage spectacle has ended, most homeowners dutifully head outdoors,
brandishing rakes and clippers, to engage in the annual ritual known as garden cleanup.
Overzealous cleanup has some significant environmental consequences. Audubon, Xerces
Society and the National Wildlife Federation encourages us to adopt new practices that will
